Our Clay Embossing Plates are perfect for embossing clay earrings with a unique design! 

Dimensions: 2.25 by 1.75 clay embossing plate. Design is 0.9 inches by 0.6 inches. 

Wording designs come mirrored so the embossing is facing the correct way when embossed.

How to use:

Roll out your clay on a flat surface. Lay the embossing plate upside down (engrave side touching the clay). Roll swiftly and with even pressure over the embossing plate ONCE to create the embossing. If you roll multiple times over the plate, bubbles may begin to form in your clay. Gently lift the embossing plate and cut your clay shape with a clay cutter.

To prevent clay from sticking, spray the embossing plate with water or use a tiny amount of cornstarch (preferred method).

If you find your clay is too soft and is getting stuck in the engrave, you may need to leach your clay to remove some of its oils. To clean clay out of the engrave, simply rinse with water and a little alcohol and/or use a stiff bristle brush.

All clay embossing plates are tested with the transfer tape on prior to shipping however, you can remove the transfer tape from the acrylic if you choose. The acrylic is clear underneath the transfer tape. 

Our releases each week (Thursday at 8:30 PM EST through Sunday at 5 PM EST) are designed to allow us to process orders very quickly the following week. We have a 1-5 business day processing time and shipping time will depend on the shipping method you choose at checkout.
